SUSTAINABILITY

1 - Materials

In a recovery and remanufacturing perspective, it is essential first to identify a material that is extremely durable and stable, but then at some point is also easily recyclable, to follow that it is versatile in design and can be properly enhanced in a perfect balance of cost, performance, safety, economy, as well as image rendering.  PET undoubtedly represents the most suitable material with wide separation. 

2 - Collection System

 A well-designed Collection apparatus must consist of a very efficient automatic modular unit, with all the necessary requirements, but very economical, configurable, practical, secure and of the right size, it must acquire data to accrue user credits and for collection monitoring and, very important, it must be able to guarantee the 'entry of Complete Contextual Elements alone and their best storage towards the next steps.

3 - Separability

An Advanced Regeneration and Recycling System must be able to guarantee the collection of a Product well designed for the occurrence, that is always in good condition, that is recoverable complete with all its elements, finally that they are prepared to be better separated and recycled or reused in order to represent a second effective resource, at that point is certainly simpler and more efficient even the Regeneration phase of the main element.

4 - Selectivity

In a good Regenerable Packaging system, the material recovery of non-regenerable components such as Cap \ Seal, for example, will always be of the highest quality due to the systematic control over product handling inherent in the process, returning materials that are already perfectly sorted by type and color that need only washing to be immediately re granulated and reused to print new semi-finished products. 

5 - Regeneration

A Packaging Regeneration system must be based on specific standards for each kind of packaging while adapting them to different applications. A major distinction is determined by a clear separation between packaging for food products and packaging for chemical or other non-food products. Very important strategic design factor is to assimilate in the remanufacturing process as many components as possible through innovative solutions. 

6 - Performance

A Recovery and Regeneration system must provide for more durable objects, where, however, the evidence of the consequent need for greater thicknesses and thus greater mass of material used to make them so, has no bearing on the direct environmental impact from an Optimized Reuse and Recycling perspective, but they do allow the Product to be made much more robust, performance and stable, attractive and an expression of tangible value.

7 - Security

Nowadays, advances in detergents, sanitization and control systems and techniques certainly offer all the necessary assurance at the highest levels of safety, it can be argued even more than what the regulatory parameters provide, since the concept of spot-checking practiced at various stages in traditional production, is completely replaced by the unavoidable but highly facilitated one-to-one control. When it comes to material yields, a remanufacturing system is also found to be highly safer, since with internal washing before filling, the inevitable yields brought about by the change of state of the material as it passes from the softening stage to the molded product are eliminated. 

8 - Organisation

The optimization of the Organization is certainly a fundamental aspect of the Heket System, which must be planned in order to offer convenience together with practical facilities, exclusive, superior and supported by appropriately rewarding incentives that can always represent a greater profit or savings for all actors in the supply chain.

9 - Tracing

The necessary sophisticated process of tracking palletizing grouping of packaging, pursues the criterion that each new packaging cycle must always take place with the same identical product contained throughout the life of the packaging until recycling. This significantly reduces multiple contamination possibilities and costs, ensuring perfect sanitization with considerable savings. 

10 - Competitiveness

The Heket System is designed to achieve the highest levels of competitiveness on the market,  constantly defining the balances to contain the necessary technological and energy entities, until reaching the best possible formulation, through new concepts that are simple and effective and at the same time in a ratio of absolute maximum efficiency and the lowest possible cost.

11 - The environmental impact

The only valid principle against pollution by waste, in this case used packaging, is a structured system to avoid that they become,  or at least become so as late as possible, remaining longer perfectly usable, avoiding as much as possible that they end up in landfills and even less in the Environment, a result that can only be achieved by pursuing a logic of practical and economic facilitation.

12 - Incentives

The efficiency of a well structured Packaging Collection and Regeneration System can only be achieved by creating an easily convertible Value, that is, by transforming the Used Packaging into a Commodity quickly exchangeable and sufficiently remunerative, As a result, nothing will be easily lost in the Environment, a factor that represents the primary stimulus to open up to new avant-garde projects.

13 - Practicality

The most important players of the Heket System are certainly the Depositing Consumers, who must be given great commitment in the practical performance of the System and facilitated and encouraged the way to the deposit as much as possible. The system can only work thanks to the enthusiastic collaboration of Depositors and by them is strictly conditioned in the results of the budget, it is therefore necessary to invest a lot in surveys and appropriate educational and promotional campaigns.

14 - Design

16 - The Consumption of Energy

At this moment in history, international geopolitical stability is increasingly worrying, introducing a future where the problem of energy costs and costs and procurement of raw materials is likely to be increasingly important. It is therefore not difficult to demonstrate how in a logic of Regeneration of a Good, when properly perfected, these types of problems can be largely attenuated and more controllable. Even the consumption of water,  contrary to what you might think, is much less than the recycling in the current widespread mode, and also can be better purified and reused.

17 - The Recycling of the Material

In addition to the best recycling of the material obtained with Regeneratable elements at the end of reuse cycles, more and more types of packaging will be subject to the regulations that provides for a cap called "Tethered Cap" that is integral to the packaging even after use, essentially to limit their dispersion in the environment. 19 - Ethics

A new project must always be able to offer products or services that offer multiple and clear advantages in terms of performance, quality and economic convenience compared to the state of the art. In the absence of the above point, the Value of Environmental Sustainability and its social utility, however, has little influence in the legitimization of the company, if not that of a linearity with the inevitable trend but not in itself sufficient to fully justify confidence in its success. 21 - Know-How

The reconditioning of the packaging brought to new and re-entered in the commercial distribution cycle, greatly restricts the choice of candidate materials, which must bear all those characteristics that limit more the possibilities of damage and speed of deterioration of the Good, as well as facilitate the least economic burden in terms of logistics and, at the end of the various and greatest possible cycles of reuse, they must also be easily recyclable and cheap.  All this requires a deep knowledge of materials and processes, which must be evaluated, modulated and harmonized with unprecedented criteria, in the determination of obtaining exponentially satisfactory balances and the perfect functioning of the System.  

22 - Philosophy

Our Mission has set as its focal objective to overcome the concept of "Waste" from packaging as a product that at the end of the cycle becomes an element from landfill or recycling, transforming it into a concept of "Good" that is kept as long as possible in time, that can be regenerated as many times as possible and is immediately transferable in money at each deposit, and adequately remunerated. Furthermore, at the end of the reuse cycles, the packaging components can be started in the process of recycling the material already perfectly cleaned and separated.  In this way recycling really becomes a valuable resource and can drastically reduce the environmental impact of the packaging used.

23 - Business

Currently the Packaging Sector is characterized by being composed of large Business Groups grown to excess on the basis of the same starting technologies, now evolved beyond belief, structured with traditional plants for an immense value, leaving a theme of Research and Development free, which is an appointment impossible to desert if you want to avoid points of no return in terms of pollution, but that will lead to a radical review of almost everything that exists as we know it. A problem that we never really wanted to face, even if we knew perfectly well the consequences, but that today can make the main operators of the induced feel, prisoners of their own huge structure.

24 - Expansion

The scenario of the Packaging sector up to now has been rather dormant, if not contrasting with the development of Reuse solutions, thus leaving room for immense opportunities for those who know the Production Technology, has innovative capacity, entrepreneurial spirit and is constantly updated. Certainly the New Systems of this kind that will prevail, first of all beating or matching the costs and quality of conventional production, In a few years they will be able to establish themselves on the market with confidence, acquiring in a short time an important Value in the face of a constant and exponential expansion.  

25 - Patents

The Heket Project includes new and special technical concepts and principles that constitute a wide portfolio of industrial rights.  All the components of a Regeneratable packaging, as well as many characteristic aspects of the System, can only correspond to elements studied specifically in a harmonized overview, therefore protected with robust interlaced privatives.

26 - Trademarks

The Heket project plans to manage an ever-expanding portfolio of trademarks and products for which it may offer a license. These brands will refer to production or specific services and products and will always constitute the highest guarantee of quality and seriousness, under the careful supervision of the Property. Working with such brands will always be synonymous with Ethics and work thought and done well. 

27 - Legislation

At the current state of the industry and of the Regulations in terms of Environmental Sustainability, it is imperative to start taking new paths towards new conception of packaging, in particular based on DRS systems able to offer the best performance and competitiveness in the widest protection of the environment and saving resources, and of course in the presence of all the requirements of convenience and safety. safety and efficiency.

28 - Standards

The Principle on which a Renewable Packaging Project must be based is closely related to the definition of normalized Standards. This need arises from the concept that to assign to a Production System called Circular, a reliable value on the scale of Sustainability, the most immediate and valid criterion is to evaluate how much this Production at the end of life can represent an advantage in the hypothesis of a return to the Producer.

29 - Investiments

The investment necessary for the implementation of a Local System by a Licensee, Institutional or Private that is, of sufficient size to serve an area equal to a region of Northern Italy, are significantly lower than the investments required for the same production under the traditional system, therefore, also on the basis of the competitiveness of the supply of Packaging it is evident that the initial investments can be fully recovered faster.

30 - Training Programs

Training programs to cover all operational positions, aimed at optimizing the management and the correct processing of returned data. Adaptive systemic design activities based on Proprietary Know-how and Industrial Rights, in cooperation with the Consortium Partners . Training of specialized Teams to support the management of the System, through control models and optimization programs, consulting, inspections and efficiency tests.

31 - Supports

As part of the Heket project it is planned to support the implementation of the system from scratch to turnkey, also organizing the supply of each component of the product, together with a wide range of services. The management of the plants at full capacity can take place prior training sessions and subsequent qualifications, or with the support of an operational team, formed and trained in collaboration with our Partners. 

32 - Credentials

The Project is based on the creative freshness of young students of the Engineering Faculty of Genoa, but also on a Know-How derived from a tradition of 3 generations in the Liquid Packaging sector, represented by designers and experienced R&D experts, that with enthusiasm and conviction have lent themselves to cooperate. In addition, there is the occasional addition of other complementary skills, which with great intelligence have brought precious information and lucidity of views.
